FAQs & Support

What can I expect from the mySPOT demo?

A Medirex representative will be in touch with you to arrange a time for the demo. The demo includes a 30-45mins presentation on the mySPOT mobile application and platform dashboards. A demo request is required in order to set-up your mySPOT trial kit.

What can I expect from the mySPOT trial experience?

Fortunately, you are not in the hospital requiring care and this mySPOT trial intends to simulate your experience if you were admitted for care. The mySPOT trial experience will provide a simulated health care journey and help your organization gain new insights on patient engagement and experience. It can also bring awareness of your hospital’s digital resources and help inform and empower your patients to achieve a better health outcome.

Do I need to download the mySPOT trial experience onto my phone?

There’s no need to download anything on your phone! The mySPOT trial experience is a progressive web application (PWA) that opens through the web browser on your smartphone and appears similar to an application obtained through the app store. However, the PWA requires no installation. Once your organization is ready to implement mySPOT, the mobile application will be made available to download.

Why do you need my contact information?

Remember, this simulation intends to provide you with the experience of a hospital visit. Since you have not been admitted, we do not have some common information to authenticate that would be captured as part of admitting. Think of this as your admitting process. We will also send you a trial kit with your personalized wristband to have the full mySPOT experience. Please note, mySPOT does not share your data with third-party members or use it for marketing purposes unless you tell us to do so. For more information, please view our Privacy Policy.

Who is Sara Furtado?

During your simulated mySPOT experience, your good friend Sara Furtado has invited you to connect as a supporter on mySPOT. She is visiting the hospital for a leg injury that happened while hiking. She has decided to grant you permission to view her results and care plan, and remain connected throughout her hospital journey.

Who classifies as a supporter? What does it mean to be a supporter?

A supporter can be anyone you wish to share updates regarding your health care journey. It can be a loved one, a colleague, or a friend. As a patient, you can set certain access levels to supporters you’ve invited to stay up-to-date on your journey. A supporter can view your results, care plan, and receive updates throughout your journey at the hospital. At any time, you can also choose to add or remove a supporter.

I didn’t receive my wristband for the mySPOT trial experience, what do I do?

A trial kit with your personalized wristband should arrive approximately a week after you complete your registration. If you haven’t received your wristband or need a replacement, please contact us.
